Explore the spa town of Merano
The town of Merano has lots to offer too! Take a tour of the botanic gardens at the Trauttmansdorff castle (approx. 4.5 km away), walk through a sea of flowers on the Tappeinerweg trail (approx. 4 km) or shop to your heart’s content in the Laubengasse, one of the most important shopping streets in the old town of Merano. If you prefer to relax and unwind instead, you should spend the day at the thermal baths of Merano, which are only 3,5 km away from our farm. Treat yourself to a beauty treatment, a massages or sauna, swim a few laps and soothe your soul in the thermal waters.

If water is your element, you shouldn't miss a trip to Partschins and the impressive waterfall with a drop of 97m. Particularly impressive are the guided night hikes with light show.
All year round, you can take a relaxing walk through the orchards or along one of the countless Waalweg trails that skirt South Tyrol’s ancient irrigation canals. Please your senses with the mesmerising colour display and sweet scent while learning interesting facts about these exotic beauties.

Dorf Tirol marks the southern entrance to the Passeier Valley, an authentic rural jewel and home to Tyrolean folk hero Andreas Hofer. The Passeiertal Valley offers a dramatic and diverse landscape. Mountaineering enthusiasts can hike to their hearts' content in the Sarntal Alps and the Texel Group. Families with young kids can use one of the many pram-friendly hiking trails or enjoy a relaxed bike ride along the Passer river. If you're into strong emotions, you can get your adrenaline fix with a rafting tour, canyoning expedition, tarzaning and paragliding. To get a fascinating insight into the culture of the valley, you can visit the Museum Passeier in St. Leonhard, the Bunker Mooseum in Moos and the Museum of Mining on the Schneeberg.
